The
FSC Prevention Resource Center The
Prevention Resource Center is a service for the Washington, DC
metropolitan area independent school staff. It provides ready access
to the most current prevention resources, materials, and expertise
needed for successful efforts to prevent and intervene early in
youth alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, and behavioral and mental
health problems that interfere with positive child and adolescent
development. The Resource
Center has a wide range of videos, books, pamphlets, and
informational guides that can be used to educate and inform on a
wide range of topics, including: alcohol and drug prevention,
violence prevention, social skills, coping skills, and bullying
prevention. Information on model programs are also available.
FSC's prevention specialists are available to advise and

FSC Prevention
Resource Center is available by appointment. It is located at the
FSC office with parking available and is metro and bus accessible. The resources are
available to all independent school staff in the Washington, DC
metropolitan area for a low yearly usage fee. The entire school
staff can have access to all of the resources, as well as,
professional consultation.
